Wedding Posters

Design and Illustration

For this project the client asked me to design a series of personalised posters for their upcoming wedding. The brief included one Welcome sign, an Order of the Day, a Seating Plan, table numbers and menu cards. I was asked to create floral and leafy illustrations around the edges including the bride’s favourite kind of flowers (roses and daisies). The colour scheme was supposed pastel colours with mainly pink and green to match the wedding them but also hints of yellow, orange and blue. Additionally a cat that looks like their cat Pepper and an alpaca was to be included. I started by creating a mood board on Pinterest and then drew up a first draft of the illustrations in Procreate. After discussing the first draft I changed up the colours I had used initially from a more cooler green and pink and pastel blue tones to a warmer green and pink and yellow/orange tones. I finished the illustrations in Procreate and then jumped onto Illustrator to slightly modify the fonts I had chosen. I combined everything in Photoshop and finally after receiving the approval of the client, I sent the posters off to print.

Take a look at the final printed posters here:
